Artist's Description
We are tendencies. Parts and sums of times and matters. We cling to moments detrimental and comforting. We are flashes in the pan. Our parts and sums smear matter through time. We blur into reality. Who we are perceived as depends on the instance and the context in which we are observed. As such the view may change at any moment. We require the tendencies to maintain some kind of form, recognizable on an ongoing basis. We require the structure of experiences and memories to retain some kind of life. We tend to, as they tend to, at times.
About Will Felix
Will Felix was born in Brooklyn, NY. His art career developed in Orlando, FL, where his work has been on display in several venues, including the Orlando Museum of Art and City Hall. Subsequent moves to New York City in 2000 and Akron, OH in 2004 have provided varied influences and venues for his career. He now resides in Williamsburg, VA.
