The search for quiet. A tender quiet from within. A song heard from the inner ear. A lull of by and byes. A brisk memory of a feeling, currently tormented by the loss inherent. The sanctuary desecrated: a thought once soothing now grievous, triggering erring chemicals and yanking on nerves. If only the thought could sleep. Deeply. Buried in a cave of hope and wonder. Devoid of the present pretense. No longer empowered by the past prologue. Having little bearing on the future fact. Bird song filling the hollow, echoes of simplicity coating the walls of the cornea. Gravity compressing the weight against feathers. Leading to the all inconvenient truth - peace.
About Will Felix
Will Felix was born in Brooklyn, NY. His art career developed in Orlando, FL, where his work has been on display in several venues, including the Orlando Museum of Art and City Hall. Subsequent moves to New York City in 2000 and Akron, OH in 2004 have provided varied influences and venues for his career. He now resides in Williamsburg, VA.
